As much as I love these brilliant Tsakiridis Devices Artemis amplifiers, a recent speaker upgrade has left me with no choice but to seek out an amp with more power. The Artemis, or Artemis Plus, is a boutique amplifier made in Greece by the Tsakiridis family. They manufacture, to a very high standard, a host of different tube amps and preamps and have. for whatever reason, had a hard time finding a distributor outside of Europe. Perhaps the Greek economy is at issue; perhaps it's the fact that these amps are a little too similar to a certain Manley product. Whatever the reason, these are fabulous amps capable of 35WPC using EL34 tubes and 45WPC with KT88s. I'll include 3 quads of new output tubes with the amps: JJ EL34s, JJ E34Ls in Blue and the new Groove Tubes Mullard copy. The amps will also include a matched set of NOS Mullard and Telefunken 12AT7s as well.
I've had this pair of amps since May of 2011 and I've really loved them - they are in exceptional condition and I've biased them on a monthly basis to ensure that everything was running perfectly. Heck, I'll even include a voltmeter so you can bias to your heart's content!
