Yamamoto Soundcraft A-08S A work of art. Period.

I am selling the world famous Yamamoto Soundcraft A-08S Single-ended Triode amplifier using the 45 type output tubes.

This A-08S is a work of art in look (just look at the very beautiful wood work!) and sound using the best components designed by Mr. Yamamoto including the mains transformer, choke, and the very important output transformers. The ebony footers help tune the sound too. This A-08S uses two RCA 45 output tubes.

The A-08S is ultra quiet. My kind of noisy tube preamp doesn't show its noise at all when connected to the Yamamoto. Surprise! Due to its low output, it should be matched with very sensitive speakers. My horn speakers using Lowther PM2A drive units (96db) are a match in heaven with the Yamamoto. Very refined highs. Very details mids. The bass is spectacularly good and tuneful. It beats all my previous tube amps. I feel I can walk among each instrument and voice.

The A-08S rivals any low-powered amps costing $6,000 or more. It even beats my previous Cary 805C ($9,000) hands down in musical terms. I also sold my Audio Note Kit One 300B with Blackgate and Mundorf Silver/Gold/Oil caps to have kept the Yamamoto. It also beats my Cary 300B (also sold) in sound stage and details. All in all, this is a very refined and musical tube amp.
8/10 condition is very conservatively rated. It can easily be a 9/10.

At $2,150, this Yamamoto is a bargain.

Note: power cable not included. The buyer should use top cables.

Price is firm at $2,150. Lowballers will be quietly ignored.
