Its performance is genuinely world class and allows insight into musical truth, providing the delight of what LUXURY HIFI AUDIO is all about. As the name denotes, its musical strength is epitomized by EXTREME PURITY which allows to look deeply into music. While the PURE maintains the natural and transparent tonality, it unfolds the musical venue wide and deep in front of listeners. The two front knobs are upgraded from the original aluminum knobs to the luxurious black Tankwood Knobs. The finish is premium MADAGASCAR EBONY. The two 12AU7 tubes are original MULLARD tubes. Also, the original flight case comes with the PURE preamp for safe transportation. If you have a top-notch analogue setup, I think you would better go for a separate phono amp. In general, a built-in RIAA circuit inside a preamp would not be top quality you would expect.

When you operate a top-notch analogue setup, I definitely recommend a separate phono amp. My standard of a good preamp is if the preamp does hurt or not the music. With this standard, I find only a handful of preamps in the market to be a good preamp. Also, a good preamp does give life force to the music. When music goes through a good preamp, the music becomes alive, dynamic, vivid, sweet, warm, 3-dimensional, and emotional. I regard the Absolare PURE to be one of handful preamps which could be categorized as a good preamp.
