Aesthetix Calypso Pre Amplifier - Tube

This Aesthetix Calypso Tube Pre Amplifier is in excellent condition and looks as new. This unit was manufactured in 2007 and I have enjoyed it since 2008. I have rated it 8/10 because I no longer have the original box and its age. Performance has been without issue and the sound is wonderful. Included are the matched pair of tubes that I used, which are Mullard 12AX7 1957 LP and matched pairs of Valvo E88CC. I will also include a matched pair of Mazda RTC #7308 1972 France tubes, as well as the Stock tubes which are JJ 12AX7 and Ampex 6922's. Power cord, remote and manual included also.

This pre amp was used with a McCormack DNA 2 Deluxe Revision A amplifier, powering Peter Gunn modified Magnepan 3.6R speakers. The CD player was a Resolution Audio Opus 21 with GNSC Reference Level modifications and the cables were all Purist Audio. The combination was pretty awesome. We are downsizing therefore my system is now for sale here on audiogon.
