AUDIBLE ILLUSIONS 2D PREAMP W/PHONO

This is the preamp that was the original Giant killer with both a great line stage and an amazing phono stage. Its in great physical shape with the exception of a minor scuff or 2 (see photos). I had the unit completely recapped and upgraded by Avatar Engineering in March 2016. The upgrades consisted of all new audiophile capacitors throughout the preamp. The power supply capacitance was increased by 40% with higher grade, higher voltage capacitors along with 8 new ultra fast soft recovery rectifiers. Key resistors were also upgraded to 1% Dale 2 and 5 watt resistors in the power supply. The tubes were also replaced (LESS THAN 20HRS. OF USE) with russian made 6922EH Audiophile tubes.
