Audio Note OTO SE Signature Version Line Stage Upgraded with top-notch tubes and silver fuse

This is your chance to own a fabulous OTO SE Signature version tube integrated amplifier from legendary British boutique Audio Note with many upgrades to push its performance to extreme. Rest assured that this amp will add warmth and analogue-like organic charm to your listening room. Made in England, this OTO SE is in excellent condition, and perfect working order. It is about 5 years old, and I have taken very good care of it in a smoke-free and pet-free dedicated listening room, as part of my third system. The tubes have low hours (about 200) on them.

This is not an ordinary OTO SE. This original signature version made by Audio Note UK has esteemed Black Gate copper-foil oil caps, tantalum resistors in all critical positions, and Elna Cerafines in the power supply filtering positions. Please note this is a line stage only amplifier - it does not have the phone stage - in the audio world, less is more. If you are looking for an amplifier with this caliber, an extra and dedicated phono amp/stage is usually a better solution.

In addition, I have upgraded by myself the stock Russian Sovtek EL84 output tubes to vintage German Telefunken EL84s, and all four stock ECC83 tubes to the highly sought-after NOS Tesla E83CC gold pins military grade tubes. I also upgraded the stock fuses to HiFi-Tuning silver fuses. All tubes were treated with tube rings to minimize microphonics and all major capacitors were stabilized with three supporting points. These additional tube and fuse upgrades costed $500 alone.

The result is an OTO SE with more guts and dynamics as well as more transparency and refinement – a very difficult combination of qualities to pull off! The Signature sounds subjectively a lot more powerful due to the higher power transfer of its higher quality output transformers. Bass is also deeper, more impactful and with better definition than the standard version.
