Audio Research LS 26 Preamplifier

Audio Research LS 26 line preamplifier in mint conditions (see actual pictures). No scratches, dings or discoloration. In perfect working condition. It was sent to Audio Research in April 2016 for tune-up and testing. Audio Research upgraded few components (relays) and replaced 1 tube socket which had a bit loose pin contacts. Following the upgrades the unit was bench tested and given full bill of health. It currently has cryogenic treated Sovtek 6H30 tubes with 1668 hours(See picture. Audio Research tested the unit with these tubes). In a comparison with normal Sovtek 6H30 the cryogenic treated have more extended and delicate top end and more extended and controlled low end. Please ask how the comparison was done if you wish to know more. The unit comes with a spare set of Electro-Harmonics matched 6H30 Pi at 0 hours(never installed).
