Audio Research SP-6b preamplifier. Considered by some to be one of the finest preamps ever made by AR. Entire operation professionally checked three months ago. This unit is in very good cosmetic condition for its age and has no scratches on the front fascia from rack mounting. No shade tree mods—unit appears to be mostly original except for newish (not NOS)-appearing tubes. Sounds devine and was my gateway into tube preamps of which I now have too many. Unit has been carefully packed for shipment (see my feedback). Shipping to CONUS only. Please add 3% fee if using PayPal. Price is firm and fair.
