For sale is my Berning EA-230 stereo tube power amplifier that I am selling reluctantly to downsize my system. It is a true classic amp in every sense. It may fly under the radar a bit but audiophiles know how darn good this amp is. It is a Class B design that offers 30 watts pr channel in triode. It uses 6JN6 tubes that reportedly last for 10 years or more. Great bass and almost holographic midrange and extended highs are produced. David Berning may be unconventional but designs great sounding gear. This one is in good to very good condition and looks great. In August 2011, it was completely gone over by David Berning. He installed an autobias circuit, replaced tubes, and tested all electrolytics. He also installed an IEC connector for use of after market power cords.
