Cary Audio Design CADS-300-SE 300B Monoblocks

Up for sale is a very nice sounding pair of Cary 300B signature mono-block amplifiers. These were originally cad-300-se-lx-20's which could be used with the kr-300B LXS tubes which were a high powered variant of the 300B tube. They have been modified at the factory to accept only standard 300B tubes. They also have custom power cords connected.They are auto-biased and wonderfully constructed with very nice output transformers and power supply chokes.They are very quiet and no hum on my 97db sensitive speakers.They are excellent sounding and produce 8 watts of magical SET sound.I have powered them with 89 db sensitive speakers in my medium large room to great success.They will come in 2 original factory boxes and manual .Tube complement per unit is (2) Tungsol 6SL7 GT drivers, a Cetron 5R4WGB (potato masher) rectifier and a PSVANE 300b-T-1 treasure series output tube. For an additional $400.00  above my asking price I will also include a very sweet pair of PSVANE Western Electric Replica 300B series tubes.  Asking $1988.00 plus 3.5% paypal fee.
