Here is a great vacuum tube preamplifier by Cary Audio. The SLP-05 uses a dual chassis design where the power supply is isolated from the audio circuitry in its own box. An umbilical power cable attaches the 2 units together. The tubes used in the preamplifier are all wonderful sounding 6SN7 tubes. Preamp is FULL FUNCTION…it includes a magnificent sounding phono stage and headphone amp. This unit is in excellent cosmetic condition with some minor scratches on the top surface (see bottom photos) and works perfectly! Tubes test like new on our fancy Amplitrex tube tester.
At $3800 this is a mega deal. Price / Performance ratio is unbeatable.
