Cary Audio Design SLP-05 Tube Preamplifier - Newer Unit - Reduced Price

Cary SLP-05 Tube Preamplifier. If you are looking at this then you know this is the flagship of the Cary line. This SLP-05 is only a couple years old and retailed for nearly $9000. It has the updated Cary logo. Units with the centered sloped Cary logo are significantly older. There are a few blemishes and scratches in the clear coat that are difficult to discern if the light doesn't hit it the right way. The power supply top has a dime size and a pinhead sized blemished areas. If you stack the units this is not seen. The top unit has a some swirling and 2" faint clear coat scratch. This true with every clear coated Cary product that I have ever owned. I have conservatively rated this unit 7/10 because this is not a flawless unit although It does look new from a couple feet away. Electro-Harmonix 6sn7 tubes.
