Cary Audio Design Slp98p F1 upgrade, new faceplate with new logo, new remote

Looks and sounds great. Jaguar Carnival red with black faceplate. Upgraded to F1 specs with Jensen caps, Clarity Caps, hexfreds diodes in the power supply, Grayhill source selector switch and beyond with phono AND cd input wired with KimberKable. NOS Tungsol 12ax7, reissue Tungsol 12au7 goldpins, reissue Tungsol 6sn7 tubes included. Please check net for great reviews of this Dennis Had creation. Direct coupled for a quick slam and great dynamics and clarity when music gets complex. I would keep this preamp, but a used integrated I have wanted for a long time became available and I managed to purchase it, hence this sale. The Slp98p phono pre section is also quite good but works with MM cartridge only. I tried out many tube combos before settling on these Tungsols, which are fantastic. All images, including those with the covers removed are of the actual unit for sale. This is truly a sweet little preamp. There are 2 very light scratches on the top between left and right channel phono tubes that are practically unseeable. I could not even get a picture of it. I used this preamp with a Cary V12r, Bryston BST amp, Triode Corp 845 tube amps, all with fantastic results. I will also accept checks and USPS money orders. If so, deduct 3% from total price. Please note that there will be a hold until check clears (~7 days). Local pickup in SAN Jose Ca. is fine. Original boxes and manual are included. Tubes will be packaged separately and all will be placed into 1 outer box when shipped. If you want a basic power cord, I can supply that, though a good quality power cord is highly recommended.
