For sale is a matched pair of Cary CAD-50m Mk. 2 Signature power amplifiers. I bought these amps from an Audiogon member about five years ago and enjoyed them in my system for about two years until I had kids - the exposed tubes are not the most kid-friendly design.
The amps are a dual monoblock design, and built like an absolute tank. I think each one weighs about 25 pounds. These are by far the best power amplifiers I have owned or heard, and I am really sad to see them go. I tested them before listing, and they are so much better than my current (kid-friendly) system that even my wife said we should keep them. But, they aren't doing anybody any good sitting in boxes in a closet. Sequential serial numbers 970210 and 979211.
I am including the original boxes (never get rid of these, the shape of these amps is unique).
