Coincident Statement Linestage RC remote control, upgraded tubes + PC

The finest linestage these ears have ever had the pleasure of hearing. Selling only for personal/financial reasons.

This
is the rare Remote version with smooth continuous volume control.
It was $1000 more expensive than the dual stepped version and was soon
discontinued.  For whatever reason Coincident stopped offering this model and they are seldom seen secondhand. 

I recently (about four months ago) bought Psvane's
new Western Electric replica 101Ds ($500+) and I have to say it was a worthwhile
upgrade. They were immediately noticeably better so I quickly dumped the standard
101Ds for peanuts. So this will come with the new WE tubes. Very little
use on them. The sound is positively technicolor and psychedelic the way
it washes over your ears. There's nothing like a good DHT...

This
preamp simply trounces other linestages (fwiw, my previous references
were VAC Ren Sig, CRL Dude, Nagra PL-L, Atma-Sphere MP-1...and a slew of
other lesser competitors) in the areas of
transparency, soundstage, detail, imaging, life-like tonal color, and
noise. Also, it is a pleasure to use and looks good to boot.

If
you have never owned a DHT preamp you are in for a real treat. Of the
attributes listed above I think the main standout is transparency
(there's so little in the signal path--this DHT preamp has advantage
over the (very) few other DHT out there in that it does not use any other
driver tubes, nor capacitors in the signal path-- the signal goes
straight from volume pot to 101D for gain and then out through
transformers--that's it.) The other immediately noticeable traits of
this preamp are holographic imaging within a huge expansive soundstage.

Nary a fingerprint on it. I have original double box for safe packing.

Guaranteed to arrive in perfect working (and looking) order.  I rated it 8 just to be safe but there are no blemishes that I can see.  Looks close to new. 

Also, I had a small Tritium capsule (like the stuff found in wristwatches and EXIT signs) light installed in volume knob since it is very hard to see in low light where the volume is set.  Tritium is cool because it glows naturally and needs no power or batteries.

cover domestic insured ground and 2.9% PP fee. Feel free to knock off
$100 if not using Paypal or for local pick-up. I'll also throw in a nice
heavy thick Pangea 14SE 3M power cord (uses nice cardas wire and
extensive shielding).
