This ad is for a Brand New Conrad Johnson Classic 120SE Tube Power Amplifier. I am an authorized Conrad Johnson Dealer and you will get full Conrad Johnson warranty when buying from me.
This Classic 120 is the SE Model which has all CJD Teflon Caps and Vischay Resistors. It also used the KT120 vs the EL34's in the standard model. It is a beautiful amplifier to look at. Simply gorgeous.
I have listened to another CL120SE in my system and it is by far the best CJ amp I have heard to date. Its tonal balance is something to behold. Its dynamics are excellent and there is a three dimensional sound stage and abundance of inner detail. Cymbals are sweet and woodwinds sound natural. It has suprisingly tight and deep bass.
It can be mated with any tube or solid state preamp.
