Conrad Johnson Premier 140 STEREO Amp w/CJD Teflon capacitor Upgrade just back from CJ 11-2017

  UPDATE: As this burns in I continue to be amazed at how the amp is ever so slightly unfolding and  I still hear the wonderment of sound that I first fell in love with in this amp. It only gets better and better with all of the likable attributes enhanced, the grainy nature of the P140 no longer present.  Why upgrade and then list it? Everything I have is well taken care of and that is my mentality. If I buy something as amazing as this Premier 140 and I see it needs attention I get it done. I believe in this case that its potential has yet to be realized, so I did what needed to be done. The Premier 140 has that potential.  It was sent to CJ in September and is back in my possession now, given a well deserved going over by CJ's new owner Jeff. I'm not the typical person I guess. If I buy something and it needs work. I get it done as if I were going to keep it. Original box and proper packing. Will ship the tubes in a separate box. 
A 9-10 because it is not new and has a little white mark on part of the chassis. It is a 10/10 for electronics since it just came back 11-2017 from Jeff at Conrad Johnson who did a c1 Teflon upgrade, and went over it completely fixing anything needing it. The amp has about 5 hours on it and with the new Teflon will need time to burn in and open up, but you can not buy this high level of Premier CJ power of 140 watts today, nor can you buy new this Premier 140 sound. It is a bargain for the right person. The Tubes are fairly new KT120's w/ very little time in burn as CJ called to ask me "did we sell you these, they seem pretty new and are nice". I take care of my equipment. It all sits behind Furman IT-Reference 15i and Panamax power protection for clean power. I also have a PV-12 which also came back from CJ on a Great Bill of Health w/ Phono stage. The faceplate was remarked again by CJ's Jeff as "pristine and really good looking". I do not have a ton of time on AGoN, but I do on Ebay. I tend to keep my stuff, however I have other equipment and if this does not sell I will keep it happily till the day I can't. It is absolutely one of the very best sounding amps ever, it pairs well with both my CJ PV-12 w/ phono or my Premier 17LS.
