Counterpoint SA-3000 Updated phono fet and 3 sets of tubes!

Here is a beautiful Counterpoint SA-3000 linestage and MM/MC phono preamplifier.  Please see the photos for the real 9/10 cosmetic condition.  No scratches, dents, dings, missing knobs, etc.  This is a 1 owner unit.  It is 100% operational. 

This is a "time capsule" piece if ever there was one.  Bought new and used lovingly.  It was sent back to Counterpoint to have the FET in the phono stage upgraded to the same one used in the SA-5000.  In 2005 it was sent to Mike Elliott at Alta Vista for a full check up.   Included are 3 full tube sets. 

1.  The original set supplied with the unit.  Estimated 300 to 400 hours of play.

2.  3 6DJ8s by Sovtek of Russia and a single EZ81 by International Servicemaster
      400 hours of play
3.  2 Matched Amperex 6DJ8s and 1 single Amperex Bugleboy 6DJ8 plus
     1 EZ81 by Mullard  200 hours of play

Mix and match the sets to your liking.  Original manual is included. 

The SA-300 is a classic for a reason. Real full function with useful features and killer sound.  Warmth and dynamics are realistic and not "soupy tooby".  Excellent soundstage and with the updated FET in the MC phono stage it competes with stand alone phono stages at $1000!

This is a used preamplifier and it carries no warranty of any kind.  it will not arrive DOA because it works.  I will shoot a short video for the new owner.

Local pick up is OK. If you are local I will even bring it to you.
