Custom made 211 SET built by the designer of Gamma Acoustics in UK. It puts out 17 glorious watts per channel. Was originally 240V and I had it converted recently to 120 by Ben Jacoby (Audio Note's go-to guy here in States) who said he was impressed with its design. He switched out a few resistors to better quality, lowered noise even further by changing some grounding, as well as biased/balanced tubes (though this is easily done using bias pots inside amp and swapping out tubes to your liking). The amp has performed wonderfully. Seriously, it is rare to find this kind of amp/sound for this kind of money. Get it cheap as it is a one-off and never went into production. Only selling because I have a little one around and I also leave my amps on ALL DAY while I work. As much as I LOVE the huge, inviting, seductive, luscious sound of this puppy, I cannot realistically use it all day every day.
Bass is astounding on my Phy's in open baffles. The only amp I've liked better in this department is the new First Watt F7. But the fleshed-out midrange on this 211 can't be beat.
Comes with all tubes pictured: (2) 211 tubes (one RCA, one Chelmer), four vintage British GEC (Genelec) input tubes and one 6as7.
Cosmetically it is pretty good. It is handmade so don't expect AN fit and finish but it is a pretty good looking amp, very striking and never fails to get comments from guests.
I'll even cover insured domestic ground and paypal fee.
Thanks!
Mike

The driver tubes. I didn't understand what tubes those are? 6s7's ? Rectifier tube is what?
Thanks. Hi,
Sorry, yes, I realize I should have listed better in description. The driver tubes are L 63, same as 6C5, 6J5G, CV1067, CV1932, VR67, VT154. British made. The 6AS7 in the back, I have to be honest, I can't remember what that's for as it can't possibly be a rectifier. I was curious, as was Ben Jacoby when he first saw it, and then I never got the answer as to what it does exactly in this circuit. I do know that Ben changed his skeptical tone after he popped the top and looked as the amp inside. He was pleasantly surprised. Sorry I can't give you any more details about the 6AS7!
