This is a working TRIODE output Curcio Modded ST-70. This has Joe Curcio PWB-3A driver board and PWB-S7P power supply regulator installed. The regulator board had been bypassed because the screens are tied to the plates in triode mode and the regulator was not working. This was a trade-in and I wanted to get it working. The driver board has its own HV regulator that works well. ERO coupling caps replace the Wima and are located under the tube board. 8 ohm outputs are wired to gold plated binding posts.
It sounds great and was used in my NYC recording studio. Schematic as published by Curcio is included. 2 EL34 and 2 6CA7s are installed. Electrically equivalent. Feel free to contact me with questions. There is minor rust on the perforated cover. I can also offer a black cover with minor nicks and no nameplate. Your choice. Amplifier circuit works well.
