I have for sale a very rare Audio Research/Electronic Industries HF-30 mono tube amplifier. Electronic Industries was founded by Bill Johnson of Audio Research fame back in the 1950's...he later changed the name of the company to Audio Research in 1970.
The overall condition of the amplifier is good for a vintage amp... see the pictures. The amp has been restored in a number of spots... all the electrolytic capacitors internally and externally were professionally replaced within the last year.
The transformers were re-painted and the cage and bottom cover were repainted. With the filter and electrolytic capacitors replaced, the unit should be good for another 25 or more years before that service will need to be done. All the tubes have been tested and test fine. The unit sounds and works fine. The amp is rated at 30 mono watts.
This actual amplifier has been on the Audio Research data base for a number of years and it can be view there under the mono amplifier section. All the parts are vintage and easy to find parts for any Eico HF-30 amplifier so any future repairs should not be an issue.
The buyer will pay shipping charge of $30. The amp will be carefully boxed for shipment. No International sales, Continental USA sales only.
