Comments: This is a very rare, mint condition vintage 1964 Fender Tremolux being offered by the original owner. This amplifier was purchased back in the late 70’s from a close friend who sold it to me brand new in a sealed box when he took over a local music store as part of his acquired inventory. I paid a premium for it then and it has remained in my home studio ever since. It went into storage when I moved in 1984 and rarely used since then, never taken out of my home. This rare amp received a tube change due to some microphonics back in the 90’s with newer Groove Tubes and Mesa preamp 12AX7’s so I could record with it. As the photos will clearly show, outside of the replaced power and pre-amp tubes, this amp is completely original in every aspect when it was manufactured and shipped back in 1964. Inclusive is the original speaker cable, tremolo pedal, mounting hardware and 2 piece fitted head and speaker covers that came with the amp. Sorry, I don’t have the boxes. There are no scuffs or damage to the tolex, grill cloth or hardware. The covers became soiled from a water leak in my closet and were gently hand-cleaned from being in storage all these years. This amp could be proudly displayed in the Fender museum. But the sound is nothing short of amazingly pure vintage Fender. A benchmark to measure all other vintage amps by, you will own a very authentic, pristine piece of Fender history that will continue to grow in value as the years progress. This amp is available via private appointments located in the Lower Westchester Hudson Valley area near Tarrytown, NY. Shipping and private delivery service is available at an additional cost to the purchaser within the US along with world-wide destinations. All taxes and import duties where required are likewise additional to the purchaser. Serious inquiries only starting at $10,000.
