Fisher KX-100 - The Best Headphone Amplifier Ever?

Thinning my collection of vintage tube type audio gear. I've been collecting for almost 40 years! This evening we have a Fisher KX-100 integrated stereo amplifier in great operating condition. It sounds wonderful on my Tannoy GRF's... and some claim it's the best headphone amplifier ever made. I'll leave it for you to decide. This unit has undergone a modest restoration, you can see some of the replaced capacitors in the photos. It is unusual to find these Fishers with all their original knobs and brass caps, but that's what we have here. Break out the "Brasso" and it will look like new. It will come fully tubed, however I would source a nice quartet of 7868 output tubes as 2, according to my B&K 700 tube tester, are getting very near the end of their service life. Takes 4 - 7868's and 6 - 12AX7's. As a vintage piece, it is sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied. Postage cost will be determined to your location at auction end by your choice of carrier. I don't charge anything extra to box items up very well, the only charge will be that of the carrier of your choice along with mandatory insurance. I want us both to have a great experience.(P.S.
