The V6 Line Stage is among the very best single-box preamps ever built and is highly sought after. Less than 10 units were hand made. The V6 is astonishingly quiet and neutral thanks to Ed's unique ground plane design and can drive long lengths of interconnect with ease. Uses a pair of 12AU7 valves, and a quick look at the inside reveals high quality components from Mundorf and Vishay. Will ship with a pair of Psvane tubes, and an extra pair of Ei 17au7 as well. One of the importers of Convergent Audio Technoloogy (CAT) felt the V6 to be vastly superior to the famous CAT JL1 preamp, but was ultimately unable to acquire a V6 of his own due to the rarity.
