This amplifier was traded in by an old client of ours approx 9 years ago. (Good client and friend)

Given a good enough loudspeaker, words are not enough to describe what this amplifier is STILL capable of, 20+ years later after its initial launch!

*Further research revealed that DEFY-7's imported to the United States by Fanfare International in LATE 1992 were all Mk 2 designs!*

The DEFY-7 holds a very special place in my heart. I first heard one of these amplifiers driving a monstrous, custom magnetic planar/ ribbon system at a friends house about 16 years ago. (Electronics engineer designed and built by himself and another smart friend) It was one of the greatest moments I WILL NEVER FORGET! I was emotionally overwhelmed by this amplifiers portrayal of various recordings.

(That stellar stereo system comprised of: (2) 8' x 2.5' L+R bass/ mid range panels/ (2) 8' L+R ribbon line line source columns/ custom 18" JBL driver (working below 28Hz or so) built into floor of reinforced concrete) 

(Sadly, I may weep again for not having the free-cash to buy this amp myself! (copywriter and photographer for seller vosneromanee)
