Jeff Korneff 45 Stereo (mint)

Very rare occurrence on audiogon I have for sale an original Jeff Korneff 45 amp with adjustable hum pots. 8/10 rating is for age only condition is mint with no blemishes.

I am the original owner and had Jeff build it for me to drive my Edgarhorns shortly before he quit building amplifiers. It came stock with Russian Oil coupling caps. and I modded it to VH Teflon/Copper for a more open extended quality while still remaining 45 magic I also have an AH Premium fuse installed.. I have the original Russian caps. as it is simple to change back if need be. It will also come with Sylvania 6sn7 GTA short bottle driver tubes, a Tungsol 5Z3 rectifier along with an RCA 80 rectifier, (either can be used safely to your flavor), two pair of NOS 45 tubes....one pair NOS Tungsol and one pair NOS National Union. I also have some other classic NOS 45 tubes I will be selling as in RCA Globes etc. on the departure of this amp.

Jeff is one of the nicest designers you will ever know and his cult following was due to the magic this amplifier produces. I compared it to the Yamamoto 08s 45 amp. and it just was way better in musical terms.
I honestly hate to sell this amplifier as with my horns it simply was the best I ever experienced including very expensive 300B. However I have sold my Edgarhorns for space reasons and moved away from 45 capability likely never to return or I would keep it. There is a cult 45 following for Jeff's amps. and for good reasons as it produces musical magic. Matched in the right system there is simply nothing better than a quality 45 tube amp and Jeff had the best.
