Jolida's JD 302 BRC integrated vacuum-tube stereo amplifier is an example of state-of-the-art Ultra Linear, Class AB vacuum tube technology as it exists today. It is housed in a heli-arc welded chassis and is rated at 50 watts per channel RMS. For more info, see the specs below. This piece was purchased on 4/20/2011 and has approximately 400 hours of operation so the tubes and other components have been adequately burned in for optimum amplification. It has the Jolida $200.00 upgrade which includes replacing the 16 original resistors with high accuracy ones, replacing the two (2) 0.47mf Jolida Black custom caps with two (2) 0.47 mf Silver Clarity caps, replacing all diodes with high speed Hexfed diodes, proprietary rewiring in the area of the power tubes and replacing the four (4) original 12AX7 tubes with high quality Tung-Sol gold pin 12AX7's. The reason for selling is that, even though I feel the sound of vinyl is the best audio available, I tired of cleaning LP's and changing records during playback. So two (2) years ago I converted to the convenience of listening to digital by ripping all my cd's and vinyl to FLAC files on a hard drive which I listen to using JRiver Media Center on my computer, a headphone amp, a Meridian DAC and a high end pair of Byerdynamic headphones. Questions for the seller |

Hi, do you know how well this would work to drive 4ohm speakers?
Thanks, Dave It should be fine as it has both 4 ohm and 8 ohm speaker terminals to work with either 4 or 8 ohm speakers. It' a great sounding amp and have got great comments from my audio holiday buddies during vinyl listening sessions. |
Ok, that sounds good. But how is the low end on these? Is it easy to run out of steam when its put against some heavy rock at loud volumes? To my ears the bass was tight and impacting out of the box. This improved further after the amp was broken in. An even additional improvement was noted when I purchased and used a Nordstrom Vishnu power cable. |
