Vladimir Lamm has been producing some of the finest, tho expensive amps, for decades. He received his training in electronics at the university level while playing percussion in a Russian symphony. He worked as an engineer for the soviet military and space programs as well as for one of Russia's elite consumer electronics firms. He knows music and electronics, and thus he has produced some of the most raved amps and preamps.

You can see the details on Lamm Industries website. The wonderful music they produce is very detailed and resolving, with huge soundstage, and speed on the leading edges.

Has XLR for balanced operation and 3 pairs speaker posts for 4,8 and 16 ohm speakers. SURPRISE! I had friends who encouraged me switch to the 16ohm and see, and when I did, even better. This flexibility really matters. All stock except Yamamoto upgraded tube sockets where matters most. And it improved the sound even more. You can see from pictures that perfect inside, and Vladimir will verify that a good upgrade if going to do one. EVERYTHING ELSE IS stock.

The other huge factor is the Russian 6C33C voltage and plate tubes. He was the first to use, now other designers are following, because just so robust and solid music. They are fantastic, long lasting tubes.

These are just back from Lamm to be sure all in perfect working order. Comes with new tubes.
There is one very tiny mark about 1/8 inch on one transformer cover. You cannot see it unless bend down and search. See the photos.
