LAZARUS Balanced Deluxe Preamplifier MC Catridge Input

LAZARUS Balanced Deluxe Tube Pre with FET Moving Coil Cartridge Input at 0.2 mV Output or higher . It comes with a seperate Power supply with 3 transformers . Hybrid design as the phono section is transistors for the MC stage and then goes to tube [ 12AX7 ] for a very quiet MM gain stage and the line stage is all tube [ 12AU7 ] . There is a Balanced Output that has been disconnected but , can easily be reconnected to the circut board . I have notused the Balanced Output in a long time . Also the Balance Attenuators have been disconnected and can also easily be reconnected . The Moving Coil stage has an additional 20 dB of gain with internal Dip switches for loading of MC Cartridges I have replaced the volume control with a TKD pot. VERY NICE This preamp is very rare as it was the last design put out to dealers before Lazarus went out of business . Only 4 or 5 were made and slod for $2500.00 in 1990 . This is a lot higher than there previous models which were more of an entry level product . The Balanced Deluxe is a more upscale product aimed at the Audio Research and Conrad Johnsons of the day .
