Manley Labs Shrimp Preamplifier (+tubes)

Fantastic preamp, tube goodness with clarity and reliability. Rated 8 only for age (manufactured in 9/2005), nothing wrong cosmetically or with performance. It has an extremely low output impedance (50ohm), rare for a tube preamp, which makes it a great match for most amplifiers (even my 10kohm F7). Its gain is a reasonable 11.8db, so it pairs with higher gain amps as well (so you get some use out of the superb NOBLE volume control!).

I will include NOS CV4024/12AT7 Mullard input tubes from Upscale Audio (installed) along with several sets of NOS 12AT7 (and equivalent) tubes to experiment with (at my asking price). Unit was sent to the Manley service center in AZ (Paul Fargo, very helpful!) last July to replace a burned out LED and it was cleaned and retested to specification so it's as good as new!. Can't beat this preamp for the price, I know because I tried, and I would not be selling it if I hadn't gotten a great deal on a Wyred 4 Sound STP-SE with stage 2 upgrades.
