MARANTZ Model 1 Tube Preamp "Audio Consolette" with Model 4 Power Supply in Cabiner - Works

Rare Opportunity!!!

This single piece, very rare MARANTZ model 1 mono Tube Preamp "Audio Consolette" comes with original wood cabinet and Marantz Model 4 Power Supply. They appear to be in original condition. Circuitry inside is pretty clean as shown in pictures. All bumblebee capacitors are intact. All tubes are vintage tubes and all are included. Tube shields are included too.

Serial number is 1-7xxx.

I plugged it in for testing and it passed signal OK. The power lamp blinks sometimes, so it may need replacement. Also, I believe the PC board inside is kind of not 100% secured in place because it can move when I try to install the tube shields (included). So, the new owner may want to fix that.

Cosmetics are pretty good for its age; some wear and aging are as shown in pictures. Face plate is straight and no bent corners. All letters are good. All metal knobs are original; which have some light pitting. Top covers are good; not perfect. Bottom plate has some paint scratches off, and two screws missing. The wood cabinet has wear, scratches, and nicks as shown.

This is a vintage electronic of about 60 years old. While it works now, but like I said, it appears to be all original. Therefore, some services and adjustments by professional is strongly recommended before daily use.
