This classic McIntosh stereo amplifier is considered by some to be among the best-sounding of their tube amps. It is conservatively rated at 25 WPC.
This amp features all-American tubes include a nice quad of "coin base" 7591A output tubes. The electronics underneath are mostly original. I have checked the electrolytic cans and they test OK with my gear.
Cosmetically, this amp is average. Some of the lettering is worn or missing. It appears that the tube labels on the top have been re-silkscreened; they are not original, yet are very helpful for proper tube placement. Sonically, it sounds great.

Near-perfect examples of this amp fetch as much as $5K. However, if you don't mind less-than-perfect cosmetics, this is a great value.
