The Modwright SLW 9.0 Signature is the tube rectified version of the SWL 9.0 SE. It uses one 5AR4/GZ34 rectifier tube in addition to the two 5687s of the original unit. The 9.0 Signature is a large step up from the SE. It retains all the virtues of the SE to include transparency, resolution, wide frequency extension and dynamics, frequency balance and incredibly quiet background. This unit includes all Modwright capacitors as well as the tube rectified power supply. The unit also has a Blackgate Power supply capacitor and Bybee filters. Preamp has a black faceplate and an updated remote control..
