Golden Tube SE-40 Pristine condition

This is a classic amp and built like a tank and weighs  45 lbs net & 55 lbs shipping, according to the manual.  It's been called the poor man's Rolls Royce! It has been meticulously cared for and has all the Sonic Craft upgrades done to replace all the lesser quality original resistors and capacitors with the newest higher quality resistors and capacitors!  When you hear it, you will swear you're listening to an amp of 100 watts!  When you hear one of Diana Kralls CD's, you'll swear she's right there in the room with you!  I also have a complete set of brand new tubes which have never been used (as backup tubes). Also Included with this unit is a volt meter gauge to use if needed, to reset the bias of the tubes.  But, I don't think you'll need to do this.  It has been used very little since I have had it.  2 new pug puppies take up all my time now, and I don't hardly ever get a chance to listen to my system anymore.  I am the original owner in a smoke free and child free environment.  No one is allowed to go into my listening room except me.  Therefore, no one but me has ever touched this treasured amp!!  I have all the original papers, box, and packing materials.  Cosmetically, this unit is pretty close to "PERFECT"!  I don't think you will find a cleaner one out there!  Or, one which has been taken any better care of..  I really hate to see it go, but I just don't have any time for it anymore.  If you live close-by in the Washington, DC Metro area, you can pick up this item, or I'll meet you half-way somewhere In the Metro area.
