Here is my beloved Quicksilver preamp which has given me great pleasure all these years.
This is a very musical tube preamp and extremely well made. It has a full rich sound never sounding too thin or lifeless like some new preamps. It also has great dynamics. There are upgraded phono,aux and one set of output RCAs with expensive WBT connectors included.
The Quicksilver preamp was made in the 1980s and me being a second owner has worked flawlessly the entire time I have owned it.
You will not be disappointed on this one. It has a spectacular phono section and uses tube rectification; very rare in todays super preamps. It uses seven high grade tubes.
NOS RCA 6X4 , GE 12FQ7, and the 12AU7 and 12AX7 Mullards.
