The Quicksilver Full Preamp achieves maximum sound quality with minimal signal paths, minimal switching, and no transistors, regulators or circuit boards. Its massive power supply is housed in a subchassis within the main preamp allowing tremendous dynamic range and transient attack without the limitations of a separate power supply. The output impedance is so low that it will drive 30 ohm headphones directly without the use of a transformer or headphone amplifier. The internal phono stage provides analog enthusiasts state-of-the-art disc playback from a circuit that uses both active and passive RIAA eq.

| The older FF Preamp is tube regulated in the power supply with 6X4 tubes. I see only tubes listed for the Phono and Line sections so is the power supply solid state regulated?
