Up for consideration is a magnificent tube integrated amplifier, the Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum II. The Cronus Magnum II is an evolution of the original Cronus Magnum, and a massive improvement across all boards. Unit is about 6 months old and has about 100 hours on the unit, JJ tubes and Tungsol Tubes. RCA tubes have about 50 Hours on them.
The amp is very easy to use with easy access to bias the power tubes (actually the easiest I've ever seen). Sound is warm and dynamic as this amp is rated at 100WPC (Though I think it may be underrated since it can power speakers that require siginificantly more than 100WPC with no issues at all). Current set to run in 8 ohm mode, but can also be run in 4 Ohms.
Comes with a 1960s RCA tubes installed (matched set ), and the original JJ tubes.
The powertubes (KT120s) are Tungsol tubes, and sound amazing.
Comes in original box, with everything it came with (even the original plastic)
Only reason I am getting rid of it is that I need something with a bit more power, otherwise I would keep it. It is truly an incredible piece of engineering.
