One year old pair of Rogue Audio M-180 Monoblock Amplifiers. I'm the original owner who purchased these last Fall and didn't get set-up in our new home until last November.
These are first run, custom built to order M-180's, not a pair of upgraded 120's or 150's. Tung Sol KT-120 Power Tubes and the stock JJ small signal tubes are included, along with a quad of NOS GE 5814's, a variant of the 12AU7's, and an extra pair of 12AX7.
Stereophile Class "A" Rated Tube Amplifiers: Rogue Audio M-180 monoblock: $5995/pair ★
Built in the US, the rugged Rogue M-180 delivers 180W in ultralinear mode, and uses four Tung Sol KT-120 output tubes. Upgrades over the earlier M-150 include: increased power-supply storage; PRP resistors; Cardas binding posts, input wiring, and RCA jacks; improved input circuitry; HexFred high-speed diodes for the bias supply; and upgraded small-signal tubes. EL was most impressed by the Rogue's ability to maintain articulation and propulsion while providing bass extension and weight. Compared to the Pass Labs XA30.5, the Rogue offered greater low-bass control and had a drier tonal balance. "A great value," sums up EL.
These are exceptional amps. for the cost, I'm offering them for sale so I can move up the Rogue Audio ladder to a pair of Apollo Monoblocks.
The M-180's have spent there entire time in a dedicated Two Channel Room, with no small children or smokers. We do have a dog, but she's not allowed to play with the Stereo.
I have all the associated Factory Packaging, Unused Power Cords, Manuals, Bias Tool, everything that was included when new. The weight listed is for ONE amplifier, they are heavy and will likely cost over a $120. for shipping for the pair. I use UPS Ground Shipping and will try to get you a quote for exact costs. No mark up here.
NOTE: I will include shipping to the CONUS if my asking price is met. PayPal fees not included.
I reside in the middle of the Midwest in Columbia, MO. 65201. Local pick up is welcome.
The amps. are in EXCELLENT Condition with no marks, scratches, or blemishes that I can see. They are a true 9.5/10 "Near Mint".
Thanks for looking!
