To clarify, this classified is for the sale of a pair of Cotton Charlemagne 80 amplifiers.
Two Shindo Cotton Charlemagne 80 mono amplifiers Each amplifier produces 70 watts per channel into 8 ohms using two KT88s per channel. Close to single ended qualities but with plenty of power to drive most speakers. Includes original power cords. I am the original owner of these units having purchased them directly from an authorized Shindo dealer, however the dealer did use these units for demo purposes in his shop prior to my purchase. I am including 5-KT88 golden lion tubes, 5 12BH7a tubes, and 6 6AW8A tubes in the purchase. I did a full change out or tubes about 3 months ago so these tubes have very little hours of use. Some have no hours of use. The Price when new reflects the retail price at the time of my purchase in July of 2008.

| Was wondering what speakers you are driving with these amps and what are you moving on to. Also would you be open to an in house demo, I am in Atascacita Forest/Humble. I have been using these amps with Devore Silverbacks rated at 90 db efficiceny. Had plenty of power to drive them. I recently purchased a pair of 7 watt SET 300B amps and will be doing a demo on the Devore 096's in a few weeks. I can cetainly set up the Shindo's for a demo if you like.

Are the original shipping boxes included? There should be an info sheet from Shindo, is that included? Any cosmetic issues? Were these ever repaired or modified? Were the tubes replaced and what tubes do they use? Are the cages included? Thanks, Anand.

Thank you for your interest. Yes I will ship to Canada FedEx. The last time I shipped to Canada USPS was the least expensive. Unfortunately I have to been unable to locate the original shipping boxes. I thought I had them in storage but it seems I do not. I will extensively use styrafoam and bubble wrap and will double box. Plus I will wrap seal the units in a tight wrap as well. The outer box will be 18x18x16. The weight should be about 32 lbs per box.
There are no cosmetic issues on the units. I am including 5 Golden Lion KT88 tubes (you will use 4), 5 12BA7a Tubes ( you will use 2) and 6 6AW8A tubes ( two required). I did a complete tube change out about 3 months back so none of these tubes have many, if any hours on them. The model 80 puts out 70 watts vs the plain model at 25 watts, so naturally it runs a little hotter. So, Ken Shindo did not recommend using cages.
