ToolShed Amps Euphoria integrated amplifier. Single-ended pentode design (SEP), clear and transcendent highs with surprising bass and punch. Lightly used, excellent condition, visually a work of art.
The amp has two inputs, with a selector switch on the front. There are separate volume controls for each channel. 5-6 watts output power, so use with high-efficiency or easy-to-drive speakers. This sounded very nice with Spendor BC-1s that I had (easy to drive speakers), and drove them to loud volumes.
Tube included are the following: Electro-Harmonix 6CA4 rectifier, two NOS Valvo EF86 pre-amp tubes, two JJ 5881 power tubes. This amp supports 6V6g, 6V6gt, KT66, 5881, 7581a, and 6L6 power tubes.
Original owner. I have another amp that is a slightly better match for my current speakers, so that is the only reason I'm selling. I think someone will be very happy with this integrated amp...

Just wanted to let people know I have heard this amplifier in my system and it is lovely!!! Also wonderful to behold..really well made with plenty of power for speakers above 91db....the sound is quite linear across the board without being analytical and the amp presents well in bass ,mid-range and treble are quite smooth. I typically use a 300b SET and this sounded amazing considering my regular system.
A side note -Markse is wonderful to deal with and a true gentleman!

Do the vacuum tubes need to be changed at this time?
Thank you. Nope, rectifier and power tubes are brand new. Driver tubes are very good NOS ones. Matt recommends using 5881 power tubes because the circuit is optimized for those - no need to change anything. Thanks, Marske |
