Conrad Johnson MV-50 stereo power amplifier

This amplifier has been upgraded and modified by Bill Thalmann of Music Technology. The mods were performed on 4/8/16.
Not only is this amp in excellent condition, it has been treated to the following TLCs, including a new Shunyata Venom 3 power cord:
a) Replaced input connectors with OFC/gold RCA’s. These are made from solid oxygen-free copper with a heavy gold plate and NO nickel interplate.
b) Installed Cardas rhodium binding posts in place of terminal blocks
c) The metal can electrolytic capacitors in the high-voltage power supply have been replaced with polypropylene caps. The original caps were close to the end of their useful life, and the polyprops are much more reliable and sound better.
d) The coupling caps to the output tubes (4 pcs) and the grid bypass caps on the phase inverter tube (2 pcs) have been changed to V-Cap (bypass caps across the polystyrenes)
e) All critical internal wiring is changed to silver-plated copper/Teflon wire (heavy gauge), and input jumpers are replaced with pure silver wire.
f) The bias LED system is modified to eliminate a subtle, but audible interaction with the audio signal.
g) The high-voltage regulators are modified to reduce wide-band noise.
h) The caps in the voltage doubler supply for the bias LED system are replaced and re-grounded.
i) Power cord replaced with Shunyata Venom 3
j) All tubes replaced

It is nearly cosmetically perfect, front plate is flawless. Only one small 1/4" scratch inside the cage and some very light scratches on the top left (pictured)
