Punch Brothers C-150 Tube Buffer

I hand crafted this unit after much consideration for what might be most effective when using a tube buffer device. To be clear, the circuit design is not mine, but working with the chassis, power supply and component choices are. This buffer uses 1 6922 dual triode type tube for it's operation. ........................... The use for a tube buffer typically is to make a better impedance match between two components, and to enhance the sound of the typically sterile or harsh sources, usually digital. It is a product that won't break the bank, but still give an insight as what tube sound may do for a system...............................          Using it after my DAC, I like the more fleshed out presentation, and second order harmonics that tube designs are famous for......................... In this unit, I made sure that the power supply has an IEC power inlet, allowing the user to choose the best cord for the unit. It will come with a cord, but you can add a PS Audio 'Prelude' power cord of 1 meter length for only $25 more. The choice is yours. I strive to be as good as the money that you spend on one of my products and back up everything that I sell. ............Two tubes are included with the unit. One Bugle Boy 6922, and a Russian 6N1P which I believe has a different character sound to it. BTW, I added an Edison phonograph plate to the front. It is real, and looks great as a face plate addition.
