Musical Fidelity X-Can X10D Rebuilt

Though I am still keeping one unit for myself, this is the last unit that I will have for sale. I have rebuilt it myself, using upgraded quality parts compared to the originals. I have always appreciated the build quality of the X series products. Compact and sturdy. What I took exception with were the power connectors that often did not make the contact as cleanly as they should have. Sometimes they would be loose enough to cut the power. Enough of that, and I have installed a robust power connector that screws on and won't fail. Additionally, I have increased the size of the power supply to a level equal to the *Upgraded Musical Fidelity* power supply offered at that time. ...................................................................... Of course, with a product of this age it is highly recommended to change out all electrolytic capacitors. These parts whether being used OR NOT, age, and eventually fail. It is just a good time to change out any other parts that would enhance the performance of the unit, including, output capacitors, tubes, and even resistors. When complete, you can count on decades of increased performance, just as you might with a restored classic car.  FWIW, this price is non negotiable. There are no apologies for the unit in performance, and the camera exaggerated the dusty looks. Yes, there are a few very minor scratches, but nothing that is distracting.
