"Zesto has created an amplifier that, when placed with the best ancillaries, will give you the experience of the musical performance with ground-breaking intense realism. I have never heard a better amplifier in my reference system, tube or solid-state. It is the best new tube amplifier to reach the market in the last five years priced under $50,000. That it costs $12,500 is a boon to audiophiles everywhere, and a minor miracle. What a value - highly recommended!"

"The Zesto Bia 120 Stereo Amplifier is the only amplifier costing more than $10k that I’ve heard that I might actually consider buying for the sheer love of the way it makes almost every recording I have sound beautiful... This is the kind of design around which passionately enthusiastic cults form, and I can easily see its owners treasuring it like classic Marantz or McIntosh amps from the salad days of high-end audio. I certainly would."
- Paul Seydor, The Absolute Sound, May/June, 2014
"The Zesto Leto [preamp] and Quad 909 amp share similar characteristics of beng unusually free from electromechanical artifacts and having vivid and engaging midranges, a full bottom end, and completely natural top ends. Their presentations also have an unusually high degree of body and dimesionality to them... It results in a musicality and impression of realism is at once valid and authoritative yet without ever stepping outside the boundaries of sonic neutrality."
- Paul Seydor, The Absolute Sound, Feb., 2013
"New from Zesto Audio comes the tubed Leto Preamp, pushing the envelope in value and performance in its price range and beyond. With styling similar to the Andros Phono stage, the Leto is a powerful sounding, highly detailed, fantastically quiet, and superbly musical masterpiece that will complement the finest systems. Designed by a brilliant and pragmatic designer who knows great sound and ergonomics, the Leto performed like a thoroughbred in every way musical, and was a joy to control and adjust. The fun factor while working with the Leto made me rethink what has been missing in minimalist preamps that cost even more money these days. What a jewel! The Zesto Audio Leto is a killer design to my way of listening and loving recordings, and may just be the preamp you will buy and keep for the very, very long haul. The Leto receives my highest recommendation."

"Zesto was debuting their new Leto tubed line preamplifier ($7500, top), which, like the Andros phono stage (bottom), is made in the USA. The performance of Mahler's Symphony 1, with the Boston Philharmonic on a typically bright-sounding DG LP, had me sitting for the entire first movement, so low was the noisefloor and so high the dynamic range"
- John Atkinson, Stereophile, reporting on Newport 2012 show
"George and Carolyn Counnas of Zesto Audio were on hand and showing off something new — the Leto
, their nifty $7,500 tubed preamp. If I were able to make something this pretty — and have it sound this good — I’d be pleased, too. The aesthetic should be familiar to show-goers as it follows the elegant, flowing lines of their $3,900 Andros PS1 phono stage, a unit that suddenly seems to be just about everywhere. I stayed for half an hour. And came back. Three times. I loved this room. LOVED it.
The sound was rich and big and grand and totally inviting. Detail? Check. Immediacy? Check. Room filling? Check. Made me want to hang out all day
"No analog devotee will not enjoy listening to the Zesto Andros PS1. It had an addictive sound that combined the 12AX7 tube's well known golden glow warmth with uncommon extension at the extremes of the audioband... I highly recommend the Zesto Andros PS1. It's among the more enjoyable and satisfying phono preamplifiers I've auditioned at any price"
- Michael Fremer, Stereophile, March 2013
Robert Harley in 2012 CES show report stated the Zesto room (at 2012 T.H.E. Show at The Flamingo) exhibited "a rare epiphany in which the system so totally disappears that the music seems to just exist independently of the hardware.
The system, put together by Zesto, Lindemann, and retailer Audio Revelation, was absolutely jaw-dropping in its presence and realism." Robert also awarded this room one of his "Best Sound" awards.
"In a nutshell, the Andros is like finding the Mona Lisa at a yard sale. It is the best bargain in a high-end phono stage I have discovered since I have been reviewing. Buy it, max out the ancillaries, and move on!"

Zesto Bia 120 Stereo Amplifier
Design Philosophy (from Chief Designer, Engineer and CEO of Zesto - George Counnas)
With my pro background in the recording studio and live concert mixing, I wanted to build an amp that allowed me to hear music the way I know it should sound.
I wanted it to be easy to use, reliable and with plenty of power to drive the speakers. In short, I wanted power without compromising the music.
Class A Design
The tubes are always on, so you have power when you need it. Class A is fast and responsive. There is no lag, providing your music more punch, transient response, better dynamic range and transparency.
I chose a Class A Ultra-linear, Push-Pull circuit design to deliver the most precise, enjoyable and faithful reproduction possible.
The unsung hero of a power amp is its power supply. That’s why my design incorporates a custom Toroid power transformer and a choke-based, dual-mono power supply–to deliver all the “slam” you can handle.
Easy to use
With Auto Bias, you need no adjustments. It’s safe, consistent and the settings are always perfect so you can enjoy your music.
What is Bia?
In Greek mythology, Bia is the Titan Goddess of force and power.
