Rare, unused New Old Stock matched construction quad of Sylvania 3 hole black plate "Bad Boy" 6SN7GT, Boxed and sold by Standard brand
Matching 1952 date codes of 213 on bases.
The 3-hole plate "bad boy" (2-hole is not a bad boy, it's a VT-231) was the replacement for the VT-231/2 hole green label tube and was only made from late 51' to early 53' until the GTA tube came out in 53'.
My reference tube for years in all my 6SN7 gear, Incredible clarity, dynamics, bass articulation and tone. These make the RCA 5692 or even Ken-Rad VT-231 sound like your listening through a blanket.
Almost impossible to find in unused NOS.
Test 2700/2900, 2800/2900, 2900/2900, 2900/3100 where 1640 is min good on Hickok 539C tester.
