This well taken care of vintage tuner has been in my family since it was purchased in the early 1970's.  My wife and I are proud to be the third generation to have cared for this classic tuner and we have enjoyed the sound that it produces in conjunction with our other McIntosh components.  This tuner has always been in a non-smoking, non-pet home.

The walnut cabinet is in pristine condition.  The McIntosh Panloc shelf brackets make it a snap to install and remove the tuner from the cabinet.  The backlit tuning dial is stunning. The only "scratch" is the social security number engraved (when new) on the right side of the aluminum trim.  Obviously this was done for security (shown in the photo).  The tuner was photographed with and without the walnut case, as well with the dust covers removed.  The chassis is very clean (see the new photos!).

Stations lock in easily, with excellent sensitivity and selectivity even for weak or crowded stations.  Vintage McIntosh components ares known for their incomparable build quality, design, parts quality, attention to detail, craftsmanship and performance, and this is no exception.  It sounds very nice, open, detailed, natural, transparent, dynamic, extended, smooth and musical.

Original box and packing materials.  I am also including the original booklet "McIntosh FM Guide" that came with it. Shipping weight, properly boxed, will be close to 50 lbs.
