Questions for the seller
Chronometer@concast.net. And thank you I will check it out.

Is there any mention of installing a chip in the manual or reprogramming? Or is it just a slid in board as it looks like? Iff you know. I am interested
Yes there is, I looked at the instructions and there is a lot of info about the chip. I scanned it and can email it to you. Whats your email address? Brad
What is the chip for? I have a MAC6700 with a TM3 in it that should be able to accept your card but don’t really want to mess with a chip?
You know, I'm not really sure about that. I read online somewhere that sometimes a new chip is required when the firmware in the MA6600 is updated. In my case, I bought the TM2 new in the box and had Inner Sound (the local McIntosh service center) install it in my MA6600, then about a year later I had the same people remove it and that's when I noticed the extra chip in the box.
