The is the later model Sangean AM/FM/HD-FM tuner with a digital output. The had several running model improvements over the HDT model. This unit has been used in my system for several trouble free years. The sound quality from the analog (silver RCA) putputs and the digital (BNC) is excellent. The reception is also very good. Pulls instations as easy as the 70's and 80's analog supertuners used before. The digital output on this unit was changed from toslink to coax. The output jack is a 75 ohm BNC. The reception and sound quality is only limited by the stations selected. In direct comparison to expensive broadcast monitors the sound quality is identical.
