Sansui TU-717 fully restored

Superb tuner from 1977 when FM was still king. This tuner was completely rebuilt earlier this year and is ready for another 40 years. "The unit has all new electrolytic capacitors, and new audio grade Elna Silmic II caps filter the preamp, tuner and power supply section. Nichicon high temp caps used, and all resistors checked for value and replaced as needed. All controls cleaned and shot with Deoxit. Bias has been reset to factory values. This unit has seen very little use and is one of the few I have rebuilt that has had no capacitor leakage so the boards were very clean. This unit has been taken good care of!!"
Very good cosmetics with minor scuffs, the front is about perfect and all lights work. The feel of the tuning flywheel has just the right amount of 'heft', a pleasure to use.
Tuner pulls in stations with ease, sounds great, clear and strong, and benefits from a good quality indoor FM antenna. rated 7 for age
I bought this at the same time as the AU-717 I have for sale. I would like to sell them as a pair, so nice together. I just don't listen to FM anymore, but it has been fun using it for 3 months or so. Packed well, shipping $50 flat fee. Thanks for looking
