Denon 100th Anniversary DP-A100 Turntable.

Up for sale is a Denon DP-A100
Turntable.

This is the 100th Anniversary Turntable that is highly sought after.

Unfortunately this one was mistreated
by FedEx and has a few things that I need to mention:

The DL-A100 cartridge needs a new
needle (stylus?) it is missing (the rest of the cartridge looks
perfect).The housing has a fine crack in it from
the On/Off button the the opening in the middle of the turntable.
This is barely visible when the platter is in place. (See Pictures) And last, but not least, the cover has
swirls marks and a few larger more visible marks.

The good:

The turntable spins at both speeds and
is dead quiet when spinning. The tonearm moves up and down and side
to side very smooth. The mechanism where the tonearm is attached to
moves up and down smooth. All movement of the tonearm and mechanism
are smooth and silent. Besides the crack on top of the turntable, the
rest of the housing looks perfect.

The last one I saw sold was by The
Music Room. It was in better cosmetic condition, but with a non
original cartridge. It sold for $1567 according to HiFiShark.

I think my asking price of $599.99 will
leave enough space to have the needle (stylus) repaired and being
able to live with non perfect cosmetics (which without the dustcover
are barely visible).

I rated it 1/10 just for the fact that I could not hear it play due to the missing needle.

Also, I will package it up better than
FedEx did to prevent further damage from happening.
